John Kot
John was born in Weyburn, Saskatchewan. He spent 18 years in Edmonton and eventually moved to British Columbia in 2010. His favourite person to spend time with his wife, Trina, who was his high school sweetheart and is still his best friend – they just celebrated their 30th wedding anniversary. John loves sports, especially hockey and golf among many hobbies, although his favourite activity these days is spending time with his little guy, Logan, and of course his wife, Trina. He is most inspired by seeing his adult children grow up and become successful in their own life experiences. John hearkens fondly of his memories growing up on the family farm in Weyburn, especially during harvest time with his Dad, Uncle, and Grandfather. On his bucket list is to meet Wayne Gretzky and have a beer with him, spend a winter in Europe, and attend the Super Bowl with his sons.
